Welcome to ATIM’s new home on the internet!

After many months of meetings and consultations, we are pleased to launch our new and improved website, which introduces several important upgrades to better serve our members and the public.

New and improved directory

ATIM’s directory has been enhanced with several new features.

Each member now has a dedicated profile page, where they can include a message to clients in their source or target languages, share links to their social media accounts and professional website, and indicate whether they offer certified translations of official documents.

Members can also display their fields of specialization, making it easier for clients to find them based on their subject-matter expertise.

Finally, the directory’s search results are now randomized, which ensures that no single member consistently appears at the top or bottom of the list.

Member portal

Our new member portal gives ATIM members direct access to their directory profile. The portal also provides a simple way for members to renew their membership, and it’s where members can download their new digital seal, membership card, and certification statement templates.

The portal also houses ATIM’s new job board, which is continuously updated with employment and contract opportunities.

Clearer pathways to certification

Our webpages outlining ATIM’s pathways to certification have been refreshed and reorganized by profession, with clearer instructions and easier navigation.

A new website for a new era

Artificial intelligence has transformed the language industry. Now more than ever, language professionals need to articulate their subject‑matter expertise, advanced language skills, and professional judgment. ATIM’s new website helps our members highlight their experience and demonstrate their added value, while offering tools and features that make membership even more worthwhile.

Acknowledgements

This website was a group effort. I wish to thank Jean-Paul Gagné, Kawal Kahlon, Jeff Staflund, Mara Garcia and Larisa Segida for the many hours they contributed to the project.

The board is also grateful to Nathan Gagné for building the site and to Camille Bremault for designing the layout.

Finally, a big thank you to Rosalie Best for her invaluable assistance in bringing everything (and everyone!) together.

This website belongs to our members. If you have any questions or suggestions for improvements, I invite you to contact us at info@atim.mb.ca

I wish you all a wonderful fall season!
